Mr. Leatherman is a geologist specializing in soil and groundwater investigations.  His work focuses on defining the horizontal and lateral extent of contaminant plumes from a variety of sources.  He has experience in environmental assessments of undeveloped property, industrial sites and residential sites.

Industrial site – Cleveland, NC   Operated and maintained a three well groundwater extraction system, oil-water seperator, air stripper, and carbon treatment with NPDES discharge.

Various oil company sites – NC and SC    Staff geologist responsible for over 70 assessment and remediation sites.  Installed soil borings, groundwater monitoring wells, supervised AFVR events, operated and maintained “dual Phase” extraction systems, SVE systems and other types of systems.  Supervised 24- hour pumping tests for aquifer characterization.
