Environmental assessments of real estate have become an important
aspect of many property transactions. The Phase I environmental site
assessment is designed to provide assurance that "due
diligence" has been performed for protection of purchasers and
lenders. Pyramid Environmental has been a participant, contributor
and voting member of the ASTM (formerly the American Society for
Testing Materials) subcommittee charged with drafting a standard for
the performance of the phase I assessment. As a result of the ASTM
committee work, Pyramid has kept abreast of current developments in
the environmental assessment field and maintains contact with users
and producers of site assessments across the country.
The Pyramid Environmental Phase I satisfies and exceeds all
portions of the ASTM requirements. In addition to CERCLA issues,
other aspects of the environmental site conditions are normally
included as part of a standard Phase I report.
As an alternative to a Phase I environmental Assessment, Pyramid
Environmental can conduct a Transaction Screen for situations that
do not warrant a full Phase I investigation. The Transaction Screen
can save you and your clients time and money.
Phase I assessments frequently call for other associated
environmental evaluations. Pyramid Environmental can provide
licensed asbestos inspections, leas based paint evaluations, air
pollution monitoring and wetlands determinations.
Our staff includes professionals with variety of scientific and
engineering backgrounds. Each Phase I Environmental Assessment
performed by Pyramid is carefully reviewed by a multi-disciplinary
review committee. We work hard to ensure that our statements and
conclusions are clear, direct and realistic.
